Vivyskeleton is committed to ensuring our website and services are accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the New Zealand Government Web Standards where practicable.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
- Keyboard-navigable interactive elements
- Descriptive alt text on images
- Responsive design for various screen sizes and zoom levels
- Form labels and error messages associated with inputs
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
Known Limitations
Some third-party embedded content, such as Google Maps on our contact page, is controlled by external providers and may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are exploring alternative map solutions.
Our rhythm balance slider tool relies on a range input. A text-based alternative description is provided alongside the visual bar.
Physical Accessibility
Our Whangārei studio at 12 Pahau Avenue, Tikipunga welcomes visitors by appointment. If you have mobility or access requirements, please let us know when booking so we can accommodate you.
